Goodbye Quinny, Hello Office...

After one of the most amazing years of my life, it hardly seems possible, but the big day is drawing near. It’s not long until our little Laila’s first birthday. This means party planning is beginning and, whilst she’ll be pretty oblivious to the whole affair, we can’t wait to celebrate such a major milestone. I want to keep it simple by hosting it at home but, with a family the size of mine, it’s sure to snowball into something bigger! My priority is for Laila to be able to see all her family and to take lots of photos so she’ll have permanent reminders of her nearest and dearest.

Laila does 'ghetto chic'!
My Zapp Xtra also
makes a great
climbing frame!
Laila is still loving the “purposely drop objects for someone to pick up” game whilst her independence is flourishing; she can confidently walk whilst gripping someone’s hand now. She therefore has the ability to quite happily leave my side and explore the world around her. Laila’s also showing signs that she can follow simple instructions, waving hello and goodbye is now childsplay! She evidently understands “no”, and seems to pick and choose when she responds to that one…

As we approach Laila’s birthday, our final QuinnyCasters assignment was timed perfectly to capture how her favourite buggy accompanied her through her formative months. The brief was to say goodbye to our QuinnyCasters experience, so we took the opportunity to have a nostalgic look back – we’ll really miss our monthly tasks as they became a fond part of our life! So, as my Maternity Leave nears its end, may we present our final assignment: “An Epic Tale on a Tiny Scale”.

We hope you enjoyed watching our assignments as much as we enjoyed creating them; we've loved every minute of being a QuinnyCaster - thank you Quinny Team!

Who needs sofas when you have a Zapp Xtra?!
